Beginning May 2nd, 2023, we are deploying CrowdStrike Falcon to all SOU computers. CrowdStrike is a cutting-edge antivirus product that is designed to bring industry-leading protection to your computer without impacting performance or interrupting your work.

To receive the new Falcon app, you will need to be connected to the campus network either by being physically on-campus or by remaining connected to the VPN for a full work day. That gives our deployment systems enough time to see your computer and push out the new app. You don't need to do anything else to ensure a successful deployment of the Falcon app to your SOU computer. If you need VPN access to receive the Falcon app, please contact your Computing Coordinator or call our IT Helpdesk at 541-552-6900.
