Dear Colleagues and Students,

The SOU IT Department had to suspend Printing.sou.edu availability from the Internet this morning at ~6:30 AM as a precaution against a serious security vulnerability. There is no fix available yet. Until there is a fix, Printing.sou.edu will only be available from the SOU campus or over the SOU VPN service (for employees) to protect it from attack over the Internet.

This disruption will not prevent printing to any of SOU’s printers on campus. Please print, scan, and copy as ususal.

This disruption is only expected to prevent utilization of the web print service from off campus. Web print will still function if you submit your job from the SOU campus.

We appreciate your patience as we wait for the vendor to release a patch for the security vulnerability. We will restore the service to full availability as soon as possible.
